Media Centre is a creative media agency capable of full in-house production utilizing graphic design, videography, photography, printing, and publications. It fulfills several key responsibilities: serving as the primary printing, photo, video and graphics content creators for the AMS, producing the Tricolour Yearbook and Agenda, and soliciting internal and external contracts for revenue. 

Media Centre Creative Staff positions include Graphic Design Staff, Photography Staff, Publications Staff and Videography Staff. 

Media Centre Production Staff positions are responsible for delivering printing materials to external and internal AMS customers. 

Creative Hub Staff Responsibilities  

  • Strive to foster a warm, comfortable and respectful atmosphere for all  
  • Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and attentively including videography, photography, graphic design, and publications 
  • Respect and adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethical standards  
  • Learn and exercise a working knowledge of all AMS Media Centre equipment and software including camera, sound, lighting, and computer equipment. 
  • Work with the Manager and other staff to ensure all projects are fulfilled up to AMS Media Centre standards of quality  
  • Ensure all internal marketing materials abide by the Media Centre Visual Identity Standards

Production Hub Staff Responsibilities 

  • Attend all training sessions to become familiar with the service and learn and adhere to the general operations of the AMS Media Centre as well as store opening and closing procedures  
  • Exhibit working knowledge of all AMS Media Centre equipment, including printers, copiers, binding machines, computer network, software and general equipment following appropriate training  
  • Strive to foster a warm, comfortable and respectful atmosphere for all  
  • Always serve as a representative of the AMS and its mission statement 
  • Complete other duties as assigned
