Hood and Gown Rentals
ADVANCED ORDERS ARE OPEN
Gaspard and Sons (in conjunction with the Alma Mater Society) is the service provider for graduation wear (hoods and gowns) at Queen's.
The deadline for online ordering is November 3, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
On site rentals will be available day of convocation ceremonies. Gaspard will have a limited supply of hoods and gowns available on site for same-day rental. Same-day rentals are first come, first serve.
Day-of Rental Pricing
Undergraduate and Masters: $70.00
Ph.Ds: $80.00
Ph.Ds with beefeater cap: $110.00
If you did not rent online, please bring your Student ID, or Photo ID. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and prepaid credit cards.
Traditional Indigenous Regalia
Indigenous graduates and faculty may choose to wear traditional Indigenous attire (First Nations, Metis, or Inuit), in lieu of a gown and hood, at convocation ceremonies.
Queen’s University acknowledges the diversity of Indigenous peoples, communities, and nations. As such it is recognized that traditional Indigenous attire may vary.
